Adult Recruitment

The files you will find here cover four basic topics of conversation that an adult recruiter may need to address. These files are compiled with a Powerpoint viewer embedded within. This means they will play on any PC, and Microsoft PowerPoint does not have to be installed.

These files include a presentation geared toward a Masonic audience, parents, a service club, or a general audience. Each presentation emphasizes the benefits—to both themselves and to DeMolay—of becoming involved with our organization.

The first three presentations listed are short and to the point. The generic presentation is longer, covers more information, and might be useful when asked to speak on DeMolay — possibly for Masonic education, or a rush party where the adults are separated from the kids.

You will also find here four PDF files containing a speaker's script for each slide presentation. Please do not think you are required to recite from these scripts verbatim, they are only a starting point. Experienced speakers will flow with the slides while less experienced speakers may stay fairly close to the scripted material. Remember: You are the presenter and what you say and do will impact the success of your recruitment efforts. Tailor what you say to your group and to your experience.
